Learning Assistance Service


The Learning Assistance Service offers the Academic Success Workshop series to help students become successful, active learners. Topics include:

  • Time Management
  • Exam Preparation and Anxiety
  • Effective Studying
  • Math Learning
  • Midterm and Final Exam Preparation

LAS workshops are FREE for UMD students and advance registration is not required but strongly encouraged as seating is limited. Use the Academic Success Workshops Sign-up form for advance registration. Most workshops are held in the Shoemaker Building.
