Training

UPCCES is an interdisciplinary field placement and training site for students interested in child and adolescent psychology. The service has historically provided high quality experiential training for doctoral students enrolled in Clinical, Counseling, and School Psychology programs, as well as other psychology-related disciplines.

Trainees are primarily graduate students whose responsibilities may include providing therapies and psychological evaluations, workshops, school consultations, observations, and research. Responsibilities are assigned based on level of didactic and practical experience. Each trainee is under the direct supervision of Dr. Kinney or another professional psychologist.
