Parking and Directions

For intake session: Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to give yourself time to pick up a parking pass at Shoemaker, walk from the parking lot to Shoemaker, and fill out forms in the waiting area. If you already have parking at Maryland in Lot 1 or something closer, you may wish to use your usual parking lot.

Maps of the University of Maryland's campus can be found online. We are situated in the Shoemaker Building. From Route 1 South (Baltimore Ave), take Regents Drive entrance on the right (if you get to Lehigh Road and restaurants, you've gone too far). Take a left onto Chapel Drive. Lot (Y) will be ahead and to your left. Park at the meters here while you stop in for your parking pass.

Directions to parking spots:

• Drive back down Chapel Drive.
• Turn right at the Chapel and continue down Regent's Drive until you get to the light. Turn right onto Baltimore Avenue.
• Turn right at the first light onto Knox Road.
• Go down Knox Rd and take a right at the stop sign (large parking garage will be on your right).
• Drive past the garage and look for Lot U5 ahead. This lot will have about 5 parking spaces marked "Hearing and Speech Permit Required." Park there.

Walking directions back to Shoemaker:

To walk to Shoemaker, walk down corridor between the two high rise buildings (dorms) and to the end of the adjoining parking lot (this lot is connected to South Campus Dining). At end of lot, turn left and go up the stairs. At the top of the stairs, to your right, will be an entrance to the Shoemaker Building. Walk straight through until you see the front desk.
