LEAP

UPCCES works to promote the social, emotional, and behavioral adjustment of the children and families at the Language-Learning Early Advantage Program (LEAP), with the overall goal of reducing barriers to learning.

UPCCES helps in the following ways:

Identifying and managing children's social, emotional, and behavioral concerns in the classroom (through classroom observation, and parent and teacher consultation)

Responding to adjustment concerns which may arise related to speech and language development

Meeting with children and families if more direct or intensive assistance is needed

Providing general consultation to LEAP staff

All UPCCES services are confidential and provided only with written parental consent. UPCCES complies with ethical and legal state and federal guidelines in the protection of client privacy and information.
