Charlotte W. Newcombe Foundation Scholarship: : A number of scholarships ranging from $800 - $1500 are available to returning students. To qualify, students must be 25 years or older, be admitted as undergraduate students at UMCP, and have completed at least half the credits necessary for their degrees. Special consideration will be given to those with verifiable financial need and students with disabilities. (The deadline for applying for this scholarship is July 10, 2013)
GERALD G. PORTNEY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP: This scholarship is available to undergraduate students 23 years of age and older, who are in good academic standing. Special consideration will be given to adults with extenuating life situations. (The deadline for applying for this scholarship is July 10, 2013)
MARILYN K. BROWN MEMORIAL LOAN:The purpose of this fund is to provide short-term interest-free loans to returning women students. Recipients must be degree seeking students at UMCP. Preference will be given to women 30 years of age and over with children.
EMERGENCY FUNDS: Funds are available for adult students who are in need of emergency assistance.
