The Learning Assistance Service offers the Academic Success Workshop series to help students become successful active learners. Workshops focus on helping students manage their time and improve their approach to studying and learning at UM.  Workshops are held in 2202 Shoemaker Building on Mondays from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This workshop is intended to assist students who are enrolled in a 01x math class and need to re-take the math placement test to continue into a credit math course. Test-taking techniques will be emphasized. Students will also be given strategies to reduce test anxiety. While this workshop is not intended to teach the content of the math placement test, student questions will be honored as time permits.
