In order to receive services you must contact our office to register in person for services. Please call the office to set up an appointment to register with a DSS counselor. Contact the DSS office at 301.314.7682.

Cost of Accommodations and Services

All accommodations (services) provided by the University of Maryland are free for students meeting the eligibility requirements for DSS.

• Private tutoring, personal attendants, and equipment such as computers/laptops, digital tape recorders and calculators are the student's financial responsibility.


• DSS does not provide the testing or evaluations required to document disabilities.
